When importing a CD Picard into MB it saves a lot of typing if the titles are already in FreeDB. So I often add a second CD from FreeDB and copy the track titles into the first CD (and delete the second CD, of course).

In this case the track titles are like

1. Some Title - Joe Doe (1:23)

which gets parsed into

Some Title — Joe Due (1:23) — ?:??

So the track parser does not remove the timing from the title.

Solution should be simple: When adding CD and tracks, the parser should still parse the timings but throw them away.
