See http://musicbrainz.org/artist/8d12cf02-de93-4d26-9788-38967dc38dfc/recordings : there's one recording credited to "Anaïs et Didier Barbelivien", an alternative artist credit for artist named "Didier Barbelivien & Anaïs" (remember, in French "et" means "and").

When you click on "Split into separate artists", system says "There are no recordings, release groups, releases or tracks credited to only Didier Barbelivien & Anaïs. If you are trying to remove Didier Barbelivien & Anaïs, please remove all existing relationships instead, which will allow ModBot to automatically remove this artist in the upcoming days. "
