I had a bit of time today, and so was using the site from my iPhone. It renders impressively well on iPhone's safari, but one aspect of the UI is a real pain, no matter how much you explode the view and zoom in... When you do a lookup of any sort, the magnifying glass icon is very difficult to accurately hit via a touch-screen. Every time I tried, I would end up triggering the "link" anchor just to the right of that icon a few times (and then having to navigate back, start the form over, etc.) Adding just 2 ems or so of space between the input field and the anchor would clear enough space for that icon to much more easily and accurately targeted with much less chance of instead "clicking" (ie touching) on the "link" anchor.

This would be solved by a mobile-centric version of the website.

Yeah, the iPhone/etc may be smaller screens than originally designed. What I was considering, though, was things like the iPad or android touchpads. I don't have one to test on, but when I zoomed way in on the iPhone, the field and icon were actually larger than they'd be on a touchpad - yet the sensitivity of the icon, vs the anchor next to it, was the same... a very difficult to "touch" icon.

I'm going to mark this as decision required as its unclear if we want to be making UI decisions based on mobile devices for now.
