I repeatedly entered edits where I included the parentheses in the disambiguation. E.g. "(Swiss artist)" instead of "Swiss artist" because I'm so used to see the disambiguation inside of parentheses.

It's clearly a user error and I'm not sure if it happens only to me or also to others. But I think if leading and trailing parentheses would be removed automatically by the UI it would be a usability improvement.
