At present, when viewing the list of recordings for an artist in the MusicBrainz server it does not display what release the recording appears on. Often times artists will recycle the same recording for multiple releases and an unwary or unfamiliar editor will add a release that turns out to have duplicate recordings. Viewing each individual recording and what releases it appears on is a tedious process of opening multiple tabs and flashing back and forth to check which is which. I have so far managed to consolidate the recordings for one artist (松田聖子) and this new feature would help me and others tremendously in this task.
