Go to any CD stub, and choose "Import as Musicbrainz release". Fill in the name of an existing release.

The release editor will offer release duplicates with different track counts and use that information in favor of the information from the CD stub.

It would be nice if the RE were smarter about this:
Pull track names and durations from the stub, and offer recordings from the "duplicate" release only where they are similar or match.
