i rather point to an example, i don't want to change anything on the following release, just demonstrating the occurence of the bug. so, edit some release with artist credited differently. i chose this one: http://musicbrainz.org/release/ccfe4a8e-c917-447f-8c01-d4dcbc163ecf . jump to the tracklist tab, edit artist credit on track 11. note, i change the custom text "Tomi" after i change the "artist in musicbrainz" field. i edited "Tomi Popovič" into "Jamelia" and then removed "Tomi" text. the bug would occur even if typed something else in here. now, you see that there still is "Tomi Popovič" in the second field. when you proceed further with the edit, you'll end up with "Jamelia" credited as "Tomi Popovič". the only way how you would correct the edit is to click again in the "artist in musicbrainz" field after you've done with the second field or either to first delete the "artist as credited..." field and then change the "artist in musicbrainz" field. i will attach some screenshots to clarify more this issue. thanks for looking into this.
