Batch adding disambiguation comments

XMLWordPrintable

It should be possible to add disambiguation comments in batches.

This would be enormously beneficial when editing soundtrack compilations. Before the soundtrack style guide was available, there was an unofficial style for entering soundtrack compilations. This style can be found in a MusicBrainz forum post: http://forums.musicbrainz.org/viewtopic.php?id=2980.

Basically, if there was a soundtrack compilation that represented more than one film, the film's name would be added at the beginning of the track title, and the track title would follow. In the new soundtrack style guide (http://musicbrainz.org/doc/Style/Specific_types_of_releases/Soundtrack), it's described that this information now belongs in disambiguation comments.

But it is tedious to have to create a disambiguation comment for each and every track, one at a time.

Here is an edit which sparked this feature request: http://musicbrainz.org/edit/19669424

Here are some soundtrack compilations, which do not yet have these disambiguation comments:

Ideally, batch functionality for disambiguation comments could somehow be added to the relationship editor.
