From MBS-5658:

• Lookup a CD, e.g. http://test.musicbrainz.org/cdtoc/attach?toc=1+3+45969+150+16355+34572&filter-release.query=asdfghjkl
• Click "Add a new release"
• Set the release artist to Various Artists
• Load the tracklist tab

Continuing from there:

• Enter data in the track name and artist name fields, without selecting any of the search results.
• Load the edit note tab

Expected outcome: Changing the text in the search field causes the artists to be unlinked from V.A. which would force the user to add new artists on the Add Missing Entities step.
Actual outcome: The release editor happily submits the new text as artist credits for V.A.
