It would be cool to have pending edits (open edits) information for all entities in a WebService result (the main entity and all the sub entities retrieved including those with sub-queries and urls, etc. all stuff that has an MBID in the Web Service result).

I think it would be a god idea to at least know that this or that entity has any open edits on it (because that means hey this is not static factual).
It could even be the amount of open edits but maybe that's too much more difficult to code for a flashy gadget.
