"Add artist" is an auto-edit for everyone, but https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Edit_Types/1 says the voting period is 7 days and it needs 3 votes. Compare it to https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Edit_Types/5 which is also an auto-edit for everyone and https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Edit_Types/2 which is not an auto-edit for everyone.
The same applies to a bunch of other edit types which are/were auto-edits for everyone: add label, add disc ID, add place, add PUIDs (see below), add release group, add work...

https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Edit_Types also has a section for historical edit types, but not all historical edit types are in that section, e.g. "Add PUIDs", "Remove PUID", "Change release group (historic)", "Edit release artist"...
