Right now, the edit artist page includes a full list of artist credits, in case you decide to change the artist name and want to update those too. This makes some pages ridiculous, see https://beta.musicbrainz.org/artist/b972f589-fb0e-474e-b64a-803b0364fa75/edit for example, where the artist credits take up 16 screenfuls for me, while everything else on the page fits into just 2.

This is also poorly done because the update artist credits functionality is dependent on the name, yet the name field is far away from the artist credits. In the example I gave, I can't even see them both at the same time.

My suggestion (with the current layout) would be to have an option in the bubble along the lines of "also update artist credits" which, if you decide to use it, shows the existing list with checkboxes, except inside the bubble. That way, it saves a lot of space by default by not showing them unless you're actively trying to change the name or artist credits, and it also links it more closely with the artist field.
