If I look up an English artist with a Japanese primary locale alias, the alias will be displayed in the inline search results alongside the artist name.
It appears before the disambiguation, which seems odd to me, since it's completely irrelevant for a non-Japanese speaking editor, whereas the disambiguation is relevant.
Since most editors will only be interested in the entity name and the disambiguation comment, do we need this locale information cluttering up the search results?
Looking it in another way, I very much doubt that an editor who only speaks Japanese would be interested in seeing an English alias in the search results for a Japanese artist.
I'm not sure what the best action to take on this is, so perhaps we could discuss it in a dev meeting? One possibility is using the native language of the user to only display a locale alias if it's relevant.
