We ran a query on a million recent edits. Of those, only 0.78% of the 200k add relationship edits failed a vote or were cancelled. This is effectively insignificant, and having 20k open add relationship edits per week makes it much harder to see edits that can actually cause problems if they pass unchecked (like merges and removals). We should make these autoedits, which would cut our open edit numbers in half in one quick change.
