A Work allows to enter Work Attributes, such as a key. It is possible to enter several attributes of the same type (i.e. multiple keys) for the same work, but the order of keys is not preserved: they are displayed in an alphabetical order. Please keep the order of entered Work Attributes (i.e. keys) as entered.
Motivation: In some cases key changes in a work, and the catalogue of composer's works mentions this fact (i.e. it is important from the catalogue's author point of view and may be of interest to the readers).
All current workarounds are not perfect:
- We may split a single movement on several works (contradicts the composer's intent).
- We may enter several keys (misleading, because keys are displayed alphabetically, i.e. often in a wrong order).
- We may enter just one key (bad, since we omit information which may be of interest).
Example: in baroque chamber music one of a movements often is "Munuet and Trio". This is a single movement (that is, it should be entered as one work), but the key is often changed for Trio in this movement, and catalogues mention this fact.
