Some applications that LB Android will read information from will create new notifications very often, and currently this is detected as separate listens by the Android app.
The app should limit how often it sends a listen with the same information (or for the same song).
To be clear, it is fine for users to listen to a song on repeat, but we should try to limit accidental duplicate submissions.

Maybe this could be behind a setting option?

Original issue (with MixCloud) reported via Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/listenbrainz/comments/18ybexs/is_there_any_way_to_batch_delete/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3\

"I didn't realize that Mixcloud logged a new entry seemingly every 15 seconds. Due to this, I now have like 22 pages consisting of one mix."
      User profile/duplicate listens: https://listenbrainz.org/user/jvernetjr/?max_ts=1703860391

The user asked for a way to delete all listens submitted like this, which is covered in existing ticket LB-1421: Delete all listens of a specific song
