Matthew Hawn, one of our directors has long ago stated that our site needs to clearly answer the question "Why should I use MusicBrainz and why should I support MetaBrainz".

Stable identifiers and MusicBrainz being effectively the tower of babbel for the music industry are two key things that should be mentioned in this.

I'm not sure where to put this, but there should at least be a link on the home page to someplace that answers this question.
