A graphical Timeline, with sections to be clickable and information would show.
it could tie into "historical wikipages" but should also have a "why was this happening" write-up; a chronological, timeline History of Musicbrainz.
It would be a great addition, and a good resource to lookup, and to point to, when questions like "when did x get added", "what was the reason behind 'Great Debate'" and "why do some tracks still have feat. in them" (SG5 controversy) get asked.

It would essentially be Musicbrainz centric, at least for now, given the age of MusicBrainz and that it in fact pre-dates even MetaBrainz!
In the future, the other projects might get their own graphs however!

This ticket is for @Quesito to compile the data necessary. since this is necessarily a huge task, it might eventually receive subtasks down the road.
