ok, my short summary is probably not very clear. The issue can be seen on many wiki pages, one of them is this: http://wiki.musicbrainz.org/ReleasesWithPregapTracks .

I propose that when a link to musicbrainz is entered on the wiki, the link is fetched or the mbid is used to extract a more useful title for the link. For example, in this case the page has a lists of albums, and i would like the wiki to change these links automatically when i press save after editting. The links should be changed into for example, this:

<a href="http://musicbrainz.org/show/release/?releaseid=357717">British Sea Power - Open Season</a>

instead of repeating the url itself between the <a> tags, as it is now.
