It's annoying that components is on a separate tab, and it means no-one fills it in. Surely it'd help if users were encouraged to self-select the components their issues fall into?

The many other JIRA installations I've used have everything on one page, not two tabs. We don't ask for a lot of fields here (and I support keeping the set minimal), but I think if at least we had Summary, Components, Environment, Description, Affects Version on the General page this would be best.
