With the (Py)Qt5 PR having been merged, a number of plugins now don't work well (if at all) with Picard-from-git.

In particular, I've noted that "no_release" causes Picard to crash if you try to open settings with that plugin enabled.

It would be good if Picard could somehow "sandbox" plugins so that broken plugins do not bring Picard down even if they're not working.
