This ticket is being created as somewhere to host discuss about my proposals for enhancing Picard to support multi-level works - as well as requirements for associated enhancements to MBS.

I have chosen to host this discussion here rather than on Community Forums in order to keep the discussion within the Picard development community rather than the wider Picard user community.

I will provide links to the versions of the Google Doc containing my proposals as and when they are created. There were some previous comments  made using Google Doc comments functionality, but these would not be a permanent record hence the switch here, I will copy and paste these comments into this ticket in order to make them a permanent record.
