          Thanks, that worked for me; none of those settings were things I recalled changing them in the past; if it was set as a default during a previous version install (through Arch), then it should at least detect and ignore these settings for 2.0.

          The problematic entries in that file are ca_providers and release_type_scores. Removing both (but not just one) of them prevents the error. I'm not sure what's problematic about them, though.

          See attachment for the Picard.ini file. Picard 1.4.2 (which was the previous version before the upgrade) did not have any errors.

          Can you please provide your settings ini file? It should be in ~/.config/MusicBrainz
