          @Philipp Wolfer

          I do have the extension, and whitelisting the site fixed the issue.

          I also use privacy badger, as well as ublock origin. Neither of these required any changes.

          Thanks for the help!

          @Dustin Beall: Please see PICARD-1359, this might actually be the same issue.

          Do you have the DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials browser extension installed? If so disable it for musicbrainz.org. If you don't have this installed maybe some other, similar extension is causing the issue. If so try disabling such extensions for musicbrainz.org and see if this works. And please tell us about it

          Hi, I am experiencing this issue as well in 2.0.4

          Windows 10 x64

          Setting log level to debug shows nothing post-crash. The crash itself is instant, no hanging.

          I can input an albumid into picard and it will fetch it fine.

          I can't reproduce either, neither on Linux nor Windows. I am closing this as not reproducible in latest Piicard 2.0.4. Please let us know if you still experience this issue with the latest Picard release.
