Hi,
admittedly I don't know if Picard can currently identify DoP media but I'll assume not (Unfortunately the documentation for the _format variable doesn't enumerate possible values).
I need to match the characteristics of my media in order to put them in their correct directories. I separate DSD files and currently match on the media variable containing the word "SACD" and the sample_rate being 176.4KHz. This is less than ideal because it doesn't guarantee the media is actually DSD, and DSD can be at rates greater than 176.4K.
I assume Picard does populate the _format correctly for DFF/DSF files, but I'd like it to do so for DSD over PCM. In my case they are contained in FLAC containers but there's nothing stopping any PCM container (or raw) from also carrying DoP.
For reference the the DoP standard is here: https://dsd-guide.com/dop-open-standard and https://dsd-guide.com/sites/default/files/white-papers/DoP_openStandard_1v1.pdf.
