I've noticed that whenever I click Save the operation can freeze or hinder the UI. Scrolling stops working, I cannot resize the window.

I've also tried 2.5 and it was worse. In that version it looked like there was also a memory leak (picard consumed about 10GB of memory) but that's for another issue. I did add a larger music directory (~300gb, 20k files) but before I clicked Save the memory usage was fine.

I remember that previously the save operation was much faster and concurrent (saving multiple files at the same time). Now it's sequential and the whole UI freezes.
