Currently there is a disconnect between imagery most casual users want to tag their releases with (usually the highest res digital square image), and the idea that we should store the most accurate imagery for a specific release regardless of quality or formatting.
This leads to a lot of duplication of identical digital imagery across releases in a release group.
My suggestion would be to reorder the installation default to:
Although advanced users who want specific edition artwork awould now be required to perform an extra step in options, there is no motivation for them to add incorrect data to the DB.
