Windows 10 with NFS mounted filesystem from linux (Ubuntu 20.04) server.
Windows 10 release de jour. 19043. Also happens when the files are local to the desktop machine.
The title tag from the file '10 A Night on Bald Mountain_ -.flac' as seen on the linux system:
TITLE= A Night on Bald Mountain: -
fix the title tag in picard and save without move and rename results in this tag in the file on linux:
TITLE=A Night on Bald Mountain
notice the leading space and trailing punctuation and spaces have been removed. The title tag also shows correctly from the picard tagging pane.
Now enable the rename and move options. Without saving the file the tag is reverted in the Picard tagging pane and shows that it is changed.
A Night on Bald Mountain: -
All attempts to correct the tag in the tag pane are rebuffed by reverting to the wrong value when leaving the row or going to another track and back or hitting the return key.
Oddly, the track pane shows the tag edit. I've attached the screen shot showing the track named garbage after I edited the track title and then turned on the rename/move options. I've tried making the save location a different directory, and a bunch of other things, but I cannot get this to work correctly.
