When trying to open the preferences the application crashes and closes without any error messages.

Getting debug by running

"/Applications/MusicBrainz Picard.app/Contents/MacOS/picard-run" -d

from the command line, gives the following on error:

I've also tried deleting the .ini files so that they could be re-created, but the effect was the same, except without the "Cover_art_providers" line in the debug.
