    • Debian 11.5 with picard from testing

When using the "Generate AcoustID Fingerprints" (Ctrl-Shift-Y) on "matched" albums in the right pane right click context menu, the generated fingerprints always seem to be marked for submission, even when they already match the tracks.

      Testing Sequence:

      1. Pick an album that is already tagged and has known fingerprints in AcoustID.

      2. Load the album in picard with "Ignore MBIDs when loading new files" enabled, so that the tracks end up in the center "Unclustered Files".

      3. Click "Scan" button.  Files will be scanned and move over to the right pane with the album they are associated with.  The fingerprint icons will be gray, indicating known.

Now remove everything from Picard and try again:

      1. Load the album in Picard WITHOUT "Ignore MBIDs when loading new files" enabled, the tracks are already tagged so will immediately move over to the right pane.

      2. Right click on the album and select "Generate AcoustID Fingerprints".  All the tracks will be processed, and all fingerprint icons will be red, indicating they would be submitted, even though they are already known in the AcoustID DB.

As another example of the inconsistency, remove everything from Picard and:

      1. Load the album in Picard WITHOUT "Ignore MBIDs when loading new files" enabled, the tracks are already tagged so will immediately move over to the right pane.

      2. Drag all the tracks back to the center pane "Unclustered Files" and press "Scan".  Files will scan and move to the album in the right pane.  The fingerprint icons will be gray, indicating known.

      3. Now right click on the album and select "Generate AcoustID Fingerprints".  The fingerprints will be generated again, but now all the fingerprint icons will stay gray, even though the fingerprints were freshly generated.  This is different than the behavior if "Scan" was used first.
