I have troubles deleting certain tags. Often affected are "Comment [spa]" tags in MP3 files. I delete them, save, they're gone. I restart Picard and reload the same album – the tag is there again. So the deletion has never been saved. I tried deleting and saving both on album and on track level – makes no difference.

At the same time, I can add and delete other tags in the same files without issues, so it can't be a general file permission error or similar.
