The user (goguvarra) wants to have his album directories sorted by grouping (which is set by the LasfmPlus Track plugin).
Obviously, different tracks can have different genres and hence different groupings, so with a move script as follows:
%grouping%/%albumartist%/%album%/etc etc etc
he is getting his albums split (in the same way as if he used the track %artist% in his move string instead of %albumartist%). To avoid this he needs a variable / tag like %albumgrouping% which provides an overall grouping (major genre) for the album as a whole.
My proposal would be to go through the tracks and create a count of each grouping entry (if the user has selected more than one major genre in the lastfmplus settings then we would count each of these) and pick the single grouping entry with the highest count.
If there were several grouping entries with the same highest count, then (to ensure a consistent tagging) we would use either the alphabetically first of these or the one which appears first in the track listing.
However, I would like to throw this open to the community to see if anyone has a better approach to determining the %albumgrouping%.
