I would like the ability to export / import settings so that I can transfer between computers.

My issue is that I run an old laptop running linux to rip CDs and have a macbook as my main device and the .conf and .plist files are not interchangeable.

Ideally the ability to export settings to some standard format to allow transfer of all settings including things like file naming scrips would be great.

It would also allow for a backup of settings in addition to migrating to new devices or simply as in my case running the same software on two different devices with different a OS but wanting to ensure settings are the same as they operate on the same music database.

I can code in python, so with some guidance (as i'm not familiar with Picards code) , I could probably implement this.
