I am trying to find recordings from the artist credit "T.M.Revolution×水樹奈々". (Join character is \u00D7.) In theory, there should be 11 results ( http://musicbrainz.org/ws/2/recording/?query=artist:T.M.Revolution%20AND%20artist:%E6%B0%B4%E6%A8%B9%E5%A5%88%E3%80%85 ).

No matter what I try, the search isn't correct.

http://musicbrainz.org/ws/2/recording/?query=artist:T.M.Revolution%C3%97%E6%B0%B4%E6%A8%B9%E5%A5%88%E3%80%85 returns 51256 results (wrong).

... this is because all text before the "\u00D7" character is stripped.

I believe this is a bug because finding recordings with the artist credit "Jay-Z & Linkin Park" works.
