When searching for a track or release using the artistname as one of the search parameters this will only contain the artists name, but in the case of non western artists (i.e http://test.musicbrainz.org/artist/9bffb20c-dd17-4895-9fd1-4e73e888d799/aliases) and especially non western composers such as http://musicbrainz.org/show/artist/aliases.html?artistid=122653 it is common for users of the webservice to use the english version of the composer name (e.g Picard has a Translate Foreign Artist to English Names where possible option) and will get no match.

In NGS locale support has been added to aliases, and only one alias should be set to the english locale so it make sense when building search indexes to add this alias when the main name is non-latin.
