Reddit board and users should be added to the social media relations and sidebar for artists and labels.
Boards/Subreddits should used the “online community” relationship. They should have a trailing slash after the subreddit name. If the name is displayed in the sidebar, it should be in the form of r/$subreddit.
Examples:
- Pixel Mixers has an online community https://www.reddit.com/r/VGCovers/.
- Sidebar [icon] r/VGCovers
User pages have a slightly different format. No trailing slash. User URLs should use the “social network” relationship. In reddit notation users are IDed as u/$username, though the actual URL expands it to user/$username
Examples:
- How most Reddit users think of the user URL: https://www.reddit.com/u/PixelMixers
- Actual url: https://www.reddit.com/user/PixelMixers
- Pixel Mixers has social media https://www.reddit.com/user/PixelMixers
- Sidebar [icon] u/PixelMixers
Posts should just be treated as plain links as the editor may want to link to something specific (like an announcement or an interview).
Other stuff:
- subdomains like new.reddit.com, old.reddit.com, beta.reddit.com, etc. with paths that match user or subreddit paths should be converted to www.reddit.com.
