I don't know which way would be best to handle this, but I feel like there should be a way to link a work to other database items which it is about. perhaps a few examples would help...

• Arnold and Willis and Mr. Drummond refers to characters from Diff'rent Strokes

• A New Hope is about the Columbine High School massacre

• Fahrenheit is about Freddie Mercury

I think work attributes might be easier to implement, as we wouldn't have to deal with multiple uses for say, Wikidata URLs, perhaps we could set it up so the attributes would link to Wikidata, MusicBrainz, and any other databases we'd implement here
