A record company is something that has multiple imprints and is normally not itself a release label.  It makes more sense than existing types ("Holding" and "Production").

https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Label#Record_company explicitly says we want to "structure the imprints list and represent their history in a meaningful way" yet the type under question is missing from the database.  https://musicbrainz.org/doc/Label#What_is_a_label? also implies that financial "Holding" companies are not supposed to include record companies.
