I think we should deprecate the release level "samples IMDb entry" relationship type (https://musicbrainz.org/relationship/7387c5a2-9abe-4515-b667-9eb5ed4dd4ce ) because it is almost entirely misused for things which should use the normal release group level relationship type and there is really no point in having a relationship type which is almost guaranteed to not mean what it's supposed to.
Right now we have 139 of them. I have a report listing them all at http://reports.mbsandbox.org/report/126/view
Almost all of them are releases in release groups marked as soundtracks. Of the ones which aren't, there is only one release (with five relationships) which appears to be correct, one I couldn't verify either way, all the rest appear to be cases where a release group link would work just as well. Some of them even already have a release group link.
It seems that correct uses of this are rare enough that we could just put it in the annotation if the exact recordings can't be determined (although maybe recordings have the same problem too, haven't investigated that yet).
