We currently have a Work Attribute "Key" which only holds the major and minor modes. Following on to MBS-8335, if we are to add all modes (ionian, dorian, phrygian, lydian, mixolydian, aeolian, and locrian in addition to major/minor), the list of keys will grow quite cumbersome to work with (9 modes times ~20 notes: at least 180 entries in the list).

One solution to this would be to split it up into "tonic notes" (C, Cb, C♯, D, Db, D♯, ...) and "modes" (major, minor, ionian, dorian, ...). This would make entry harder though (requiring twice as many steps) and would make it more difficult to pair up keys in works that have multiple (e.g., G♯ mixolydian and C minor), so I'm not completely sold on this idea, but felt I needed to toss it out there to get the issue going.

(Of course, a ~200 item long list might not be an issue if it's "hidden" behind a good UI.)
