Description
The Miscellaneous style guideline currently stipulates that "typographically correct" punctuation is preferred. The present consensus is that this means UTF-8 characters rather than ASCII ones, but some editors have interpreted the guideline as saying the opposite. I strongly suggest that the phrase "typographically correct" be removed and replaced with an explicit stated preference for UTF-8 punctuation.
