In classical music, an important credit intimately connected to a Work is given to its 1st performers, to such degree that the Work is considered ‘created’ not as composition but through premiere, be it in private or public. (Also, opera roles are usually said to be ‘created’, not by original author, librettist or composer, but premiere singer.)
MB already has ‘premiered at [Place]’, so Artist should follow.
