Releases are MB documented by pictures, but as physical releases are subject to wear and tear, and digital photography to conditions of human/tech ability, so an optimal editor will not always have the means to an optimal release entry. Also, deficiencies may not be visually discernible from its supposed appearance (f.i. artist autograph, or scribble cut out), so this tool to tag bad cases is proposed.

Since this attribute would probably do its best understood as a flag “substitution of object needed”, there is no need for further form (f.i. predefined suboptimality types (yellowing/damage/scribble/obscured catno/…)), but there should be an optional free-form comment (‘suboptimal as’). Note that although each Cover Art picture already have such a field, those are neutral and have no common “value” to exploit with purpose defined.
