Disambiguation: Double-sided Cylindrical Drum, but much shorter than the Yak-beraya. One side is played with a stick and other side is played with hand. Stick Is known as 'Kadippuwa'.
Description: Davula is the main drum used with the Sabaragamuwa dance style in Sri Lankan Culture. Similar to the Thammatama Davula is an essential instrument in Buddhist Ceremonies and Hewisi. Davula is 15 inches in length and has an approximate face diameter of about 16 inches.
