I don't have a lot to go on for this report, so I'm not sure if it's just a one-off, or something stranger which isn't working.
Someone reached out to us asking why their spotify wasn't importing. It turns out that there was an oauth error a few months ago and they missed the email (LB-1026).
Even though the spotify import wasn't happening, it seemed that their oauth token was up-to-date, and I was able to use it to perform a query to spotify.
This brings up a handful of questions that I want to investigate further:
- Why was the spotify token continuing to be updated even though the importer wasn't processing the user?
- Can we split spotify errors into permanent and temporary ones, and if it's temporary, retry the import at a later stage?
- Are there any other users accounts in this situation?
