linked to the "Hess catalog" series under two numbers, Hess 275 and Hess 328. In the series view https://musicbrainz.org/series/a0502db6-8cdf-40f8-a82a-da7c94c015b4 both rows appear with the "Hess 328" number.

This data is part of the small data dump and on my local instance I can see that the seriesItemNumbers parameter passed to SeriesIndex in SeriesIndex.js contains this work only once, hence the wrong number displayed. I didn't try to look further
