Same problem as in MBS-4091 and MBS-11317, collection descriptions are also affected by this bug. Since I was already testing this, I also tried this in my profile bio and noticed that it also breaks. I think these should be the last two places where you can use this kind of markup (edit notes do not support list items at all).
