During the discussion on https://community.metabrainz.org/t/reminder-if-you-start-an-election-please-let-us-know-here/637564 it was brought up that it's weird that people can see who has voted on an election in real time while it's happening, and especially weird since the proposer, seconders and candidate can see the tally of votes in real time as well. That means that despite the voting being theoretically private, the people who have the most skin in the game are able to just refresh the page often and compare tally changes with additions to the voters list to pretty much see who voted what way.

I can't see any benefits of showing the voter list anyway before the election is over, except for showing each person who has voted their own vote. I'd suggest hiding it (except for own vote).

The alternative would be to hide the tally from everyone while the election is running, but the intention of having the tally be visible to the proposer was so that they could choose to cancel if they feel the election is too contested (even if it will pass) and they want to drop it out of courtesy, which seems still valid. I'm honestly not sure why the tally is visible to seconders and candidate though since IIRC they cannot do anything about it anyway.
