The list of radio & television stations on MB is long.

Broadcasters play a prominent role in anything related to music, the core subject of the MB database.

Therefore I think the label role "broadcaster" would be beneficial.

Currently broadcasters are either given no type, or types like "original production" or "publisher" (which is at best only relevant to limited side activities), and sometimes as "imprint" (which could be correct, but seems to be used wrongly by absence of a better role)

I think there is no more appropriate type for a broadcaster, than "broadcaster", even if they occasionally publish releases, or are involved in the production of recordings.
