A mistake often done by new editors on classical releases is to add a release date before 1980 to their CDs because the recordings were done before 1980. So they choose the earliest date they can find on the cover/booklet and use that as the release date, which is obviously wrong.
It would be really nice if the release editor could display a warning in these cases and reject the date.
